Ghanaian diplomat Genevive Delali Tsegah was born on 8 August 1951. Prior to spending four years as the ambassador in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, she served as the department’s head from 2000 to 2002. (2002–06). She subsequently went back and spent two more years as the director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of Economics, Trade, and Investment. She served as the Permanent Envoy’s representative at the UN headquarters in New York City from 2008 to 2009.
