Sir David Frank Adjaye is a British-Ghanaian architect who was born on September 22, 1966. The National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., is only one of the famous structures he is credited with designing. In the 2017 New Year Honours, Adjaye received a knighthood for his contributions to architecture.
