A sprinter from Ghana, Flings Owusu-Agyapong was born on October 16, 1988. [3] Her parents, Kwadwo Agyapong and Adwoa Akomaa, moved the family to Toronto, Canada when she was nine years old. She was born in Kumasi, Ghana. She joined the Flying Angels sports club following her sophomore year of high school and began training there.
