Solomon Afful, a sprinter from Ghana who was born on July 28, 1994, excels in the 100 and 200 meters. He advanced to the 100- and 200-meter semifinals at the 2014 African Championships and took home a silver in the 4 x 100-meter relay. At the 2015 African Games, he went on to win a bronze medal in the 4 100 meter relay. His personal best times are 10.39 seconds for the 100 meters, set in Hutchinson in May 2015, and 20.68 seconds for the 200 meters, set in El Dorado in May 2015.
