David Asante-Apeatu, a forensic expert and police officer from Ghana, was born on August 14, 1959. He served as the Ghana Police Service’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) as of February 2017. He is the 22nd Ghanaian and the 28th individual to occupy the role.
