Ibrahim Sunday, a former professional football player and coach from Ghana, was born on July 22, 1944. He was a midfielder who spent the majority of his career with the Ghanaian team Asante Kotoko. He also represented Ghana in two Africa Nations Cup competitions. He received the African Footballer of the Year honor in 1971.
